International Automation Services company is looking for an experienced Sr. MES Consultant to lead a team of MES specialists at some of the most innovative pharma manufacturing companies in the world.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Architect and lead the implementation of MES and system integration projects for Life Sciences customers
Analyze user requirements to define functional requirements for MES solutions through client interviews and documentation analysis
Develop detailed designs, implement, troubleshoot and test MES solutions that meet client requirements
Provide project execution leadership and mentor fellow project members
Act internally and externally as an industry-wide expert in MES.
Capable of directing the activities of multiple Lead Engineers, Technical Consultants, and Senior Technical Consultants
Direct discussions determining strategic operating policies or technical direction, devising ways of reaching objectives in the most economical manner and of solving unusual complex technical problems involving several disciplines.
Possess keen understanding, exposure and adherence to Quality Management
Work effectively at different levels within project teams and client organizations
Refine/optimize and follow Business Process Maps and/or Use Cases for configuration of execution workflows
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
BS degree with minimum of 15 years overall experience, including a minimum of 10+ years project experience, and at least 8 years’ experience working on MES projects in the Life Sciences industry
Deployment experience with plant floor/Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions (e.g. POMSnet Syncade, Rockwell, ProPack Data, Werum PAS-X)
LOCATION
Position is remote / virtual (US based) with some domestic and international (primarily Europe) travel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying, implementing, maintaining, and updating plant process control systems to ensure optimum efficiency, availability, and safety.

The Mid-Sr. Level Process Control Engineer is customer-facing and is engaged in a variety of activities across multiple industries. The engineer will be expected to be an excellent representative of the company while implementing automated programming and processes that will drive the successful execution of various projects at customer sites.
The Process Control Engineer is responsible for working with outside customers and vendors to define, develop, engineer, and implement projects and scopes of work established in alignment with project goals and objectives. He/she will be focused and possess a high level of technical accuracy and a deep understanding of process knowledge. He/she must have the ability to collaborate with a team that will implement and maintain process controls in a safe, reliable, and economical operation. A successful candidate will be expected to assimilate quickly and begin delivering results in an expedient manner. He/she will also develop an awareness of operational history recognizing the value of information sharing and knowledge transfer.

The AUTOMATION PROJECT MANAGER position requires a combination of technical, leadership, and business acumen. Will direct the activities of other engineering leaders.
BS in Engineering, Business or related field, plus 10 years automation and controls and progressive leadership experience in the delivery of process automation solutions.
Experience in one or more of the following industries: life sciences, chemicals, consumer packaged goods, pulp and paper, food and beverage, or discrete manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage large and small projects
• Understanding of system integrator business model and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to build client confidence
• Ability to support projects by traveling to client

The Packaging Automation Engineer is responsible for complete project execution including system automation design, testing, documentation management, installation and start-up.
Education/Experience: BS in Engineering or equivalent technical degree plus 5 or more years of project or packaging automation in the Food and Beverage, Consumer Products, or Pharmaceutical Industry desired.
Travel: Project Dependent up to 25%
