Should have knowledge or experience in Engineered Plastics such as Polyamide, Polycarbonate, Polyester, Styrenics & Alloys, or TPEs. Prefer knowledge of properties, characteristics & processing behavior of polymeric materials, additives, functional modifiers & formulation thereof. Prefer knowledge of polymer processing & testing methods & ability to operate such equipment. Prefer competence in project management, application of statistical experimental methodology, process improvement techniques & fundamental business operational practices. Prefer competence in engineering principles, fabrication methods, tooling, product design criteria & quality systems for design & development, such as TS 16949. Will provide internal & external product technical support for global Advanced Polymer Solutions segment. Will support business growth strategies with differentiated products, applications or processes to meet market & customer objectives with lower costs or improved performance. Will prepare & deliver technical presentation at meeting & conferences. Will assist in creation of training, product datasheets & technical product literature. Will provide quality specification control plans & guidance to business unit supplier selection & alternate sources of key raw materials. Will research & assess impact of intellectual property associated with development of products, processes & applications. The Technology engineer/manager (depending on experience) needs to have a background in industrial manufacturing and be able to adapt to a fast-paced 24/7/365 industrial environment. This engineer will be supporting Cisco networks consisting of 100+ switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
Responsible for working within a team of engineers supporting the maintenance, expansion and improvements of network and components.
Provide support for a mid-size deployment of VMware vSphere ESXi 5.5 & 6.0 using technologies like vCenter appliances, distributed switches, High Availability, VMware Horizon View, and more is required.
Provide support for, secure, and improve the Active Directory domain and existing deployment of over 300 servers and workstations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
CCNA or equivalent relevant experience working with Cisco devices.
VCP-DCV or equivalent relevant experience working with VMware technologies
Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and common technologies found in domain deployments
Understanding of iSCSI, Fiber Channel, and other SAN technologies
Ability to execute a backup strategy and test restore procedures
Basic database administration skills (Microsoft SQL)
Experience with an array or desktop and server operating systems (2000, 2003, 2012, 2016, XP, 7, 10)
